The Active Learning Zone is a hands-on, phantom-based open access session which will take place on two days, Tuesday 11th November (14:15-17:15) and Wednesday 12th November (09:15-12:15).
It consists of a variety of stations offering practical experience in interventional procedures, including most of the following:
- Ablation
- Arterial vessel preparation
- Biliary access and intervention
- Coils embolisation
- Drainage and nephrostomy
- Gastrostomy
- GI stents
- Liquids and particles embolisation
- Nerve blocks
- Paediatrics
- Port-a-Cath and PICC insertion
- Sedation
- Stroke thrombectomy
- Thrombectomy (general)
- Ultrasound guided arterial access and closure
- Ultrasound guided biopsy and drainage
